There are lots of websites that can plot your running routes, help you plan your training and offer running tips. There aren’t so many that have all of these things in one place – and none as useful or as customisable as ASICS's free online training tool
My ASICS.

The company's motto 'anima sana in corpore sano' – which is Latin for 'a sound mind in a sound body' – is reflected in the wealth of customisable features available on the site. Not only will it make you a faster, stronger, less injury-prone runner, it'll give you that all-important belief that you can conquer whatever race you're taking on.

How it works Once you've gone through the simple registration process, you arrive at an easy-to-use dashboard where you can access the
My ASICS tools. The first one on the navigation bar is My Run, a logging tool that lets you map your routes using Google maps, record your times, note how hard you found them, and tells you how fast (on average) you completed each kilometre of your run.

Your dashboard also gives you access to a planning tool called My Planner. Simply select your race type (from 5K up to a marathon), enter the date of the race, state your aim (to finish or to finish in a certain time) and select how often you want to train (days and frequency) and My ASICS will generate a personalised training plan that will help you reach your goal.

When you click back to your dashboard you'll see snapshots of the next couple of days of your plan and statistics from your previous runs, which will help to keep you in touch with your progress and give you the motivation to keep pushing yourself. You'll also be able to access an abundance of expert running tips and check out the full range of ASICS running products. If you've registered for My ASICS, you'll get regular progress summary emails, which is ideal if you don't have time to login to the site.

Whether you're new to running or a grizzled veteran, My ASICS offers you everything you need to take your running to the next level.
