Carphone Warehouse sent its Tough Mudder team to the 80,000-acre estate of Drumlanrig, Scotland, to see how the Xperia Z3+ fared in one of the most gruelling assault courses outside military training. Drumlanrig is full of lung busting hills, ice cold lochs and strength sapping mud combine, which proved to be the perfect setting to test the ware and agility of this new smartphone.  

It may have been home of the Braveheart legend, but now with Sony’s ice bath obstacle, Arctic Enema 2.0, and other harrowing mud-infused challenges, Drumlanrig served as a brutal stop for the most seasoned Legionnaire and a baptism of fire for first time Mudders.
