'I’m a big believer in varying my training,' says UFC lightweight Ross Pearson. 'From an early age, I’ve always moved between gyms so I don’t get too comfortable or too familiar with one group of training partners – it’s one thing being able to do a move on one guy, but you need to be able to do it on everyone.

'Recently my Rough House team did a session with Brazilian jiu jitsu legend Roger Gracie and Georges St-Pierre, the UFC welterweight champ. It’s great for us to be able to fight at that level, but you really need the conditioning to keep up. Check out the above video to see how I develop it.'
