Ever wanted to own an Aston Martin? Now’s your chance with this new partnership between two of Britain’s leading luxury brands.

You’re probably aware of both, but did you know Hackett started as a stall at Portobello Road Market selling second-hand clothes? Since then, the label’s evolved into one of Britain’s most successful menswear labels celebrated for its quality tailoring, outerwear, refined casual wear and accessories for the modern guy.

Hackett has already collaborated with some of the world’s leading sporting names, teams and events. It’s worked with Jonny Wilkinson, sponsored the Oxford and Cambridge boat race, dressed the Spanish Davis Cup Team and been the official clothing sponsor of the Lotus F1 Racing team.

The fashion label’s relationship with Aston Martin started in 2005 when it clothed the luxury car brand’s Racing Team, but this next stage lets the public in on the action with a collection inspired by the AM37 Powerboat.

Aston Martin x Hackett – innovative yet practical, with meticulous attention to detail – is undoubtedly one of the hottest collaborations of the season. The 22-piece collection is understated and masculine, and features all the products Hackett is famous for including polo tops, outerwear and accessories.

Look out for the cobalt nautical parka and traditional sailing jacket with wind and rainproof qualities, created for braving the harsh British weather either on or off the boat.

One of Coach’s favourites is the minimalist grey suede blouson jacket, which is also water-repellent – it’s understated British quality at its best.

The nylon mac with lightweight lining and precision laser-cut zip pockets shows how the partnership is using technology to set it apart from the usual designer collaborations.

The collection also incorporates a range of accessories, including the navy Aston Martin bag engineered from a technical bonded cloth that adds to its water-resistant qualities – and makes it the perfect companion for those who enjoy their watersports.
