In theory, summer is an excellent time of year to take your exercise outside. The sun is shining and the days are long – why wouldn’t you want to do your sweating in the great outdoors?

Unfortunately the reality in the UK is often cloudier and probably rainier. Then there are the perils of hay fever to consider. You can’t get fit while sneezing, that’s just science.

So you shouldn’t be afraid to schedule a few indoor activities this summer, especially when those activities can include some of London’s finest fitness class for free.

As part of Summer Streets on Regent Street, where the central London thoroughfare is traffic-free every Sunday from 2nd to 23rd July, Canadian fitness gear brand Lululemon will be hosting free classes from studios like F45, Psycle and Third Space at its Regent Street store. Places are sure to go quickly, so check out the info and sign up below IMMEDIATELY to avoid disappointment.

Psycle HIIT – 2nd July

A 50-minute HIIT class that enlists equipment like kettlebells and TRX ropes as well as bodyweight exercises to blast the entire body. Sign up on this Eventbrite page.

Third Space – 9th and 16th July

There are two different Third Space classes to choose between, both with appropriately intense names – Meta Burn and The Method. They’re full-body HIIT classes and they’re tough. Sign up on this Eventbrite page for the 9th, and this Eventbrite page for the 16th.

F45 – 23rd July

F45 offers 45-minute HIIT sessions focused on functional exercises. In Coach’s humble opinion, they’re among the very best fitness classes you can do, hence their rapidly growing popularity. Try the F45 VARSITY workout for free by signing up on this Eventbrite page.

As well as these free classes, Lululemon is providing the chance to escape the chaos of central London by boarding the Om The Move meditation bus for a 20-minute session. You can book your spot on this mobile oasis of calm by visiting this Eventbrite page.
