One of the best fitness trackers, the Fitbit Luxe, has temporarily snuck into the price band for our best cheap fitness trackers in Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale, a new sales event for Amazon Prime members ahead of the Black Friday period.

The Luxe is an excellent daily activity tracker and looks ten times better than other fitness bands.

Save £20 The deal is available on all three colourways of the Fitbit Luxe: Lunar white / soft gold stainless steel, black / graphite stainless steel and orchid / platinum stainless steel. While Amazon UK quotes the RRP as £129.95, the Fitbit website lists it as £109 so we’re using that.

Our Fitbit Luxe review awarded it four out of five stars. After a month of wear, our reviewer found it had encouraged them to increase their everyday activity and become more conscious of their habits. It also helped them make small changes which improved the quality of their sleep.

If you’re shopping for gifts ahead of Christmas, the Luxe is well worth considering for people who would like to live a healthier lifestyle. It’s not, however, suitable for people who are keen exercisers already and want to track their performance.

The Fitbit Charge 5, one of the six Fitbits in the Prime Early Access sale, is a better choice for sporty people although we think there are even better options out there, especially from Garmin.

The Prime Early Access sale runs 11th-12th October and is for members of the Amazon Prime service only. A free trial is offered to entice you to sign up.
